St George's Community Centre and Age UK Wakefield District are now working in partnership at St George's Community Centre.

Supporting older people in the community - working in partnership offering information, advice and support for people over 50

You can call in to reception at anytime during opening hours to request a referral to our service, or visit the Drop-In service held:

First Friday every month 11am to 2pm, 

Providing individual help on many issues such as:

  • pensions and benefits
  • making your home safe & secure
  • accessing social activities
  • finding the care you need
  • managing your money
  • caring for family members
