Childcare @ Snapethorpe based at Snapethorpe School has been open since March 2006.

It provides care for children in full time education and operates from the end of the school day to 5:50 during term time and 8:00 am to 5:50 pm during schools holidays. Children from all schools are welcome but we currently collect children from the following schools:

• Snapethorpe Primary School
• English Martyrs Catholic Primary School
• Waterton Junior and Infants School
• The Mount Junior and Infant Schools
• Methodist Junior Infant and Nursery School

Fun, Laughter and Learning at the end of a school day is what the children who come to our club do. They are able relax, enjoy a snack play games or maybe do creative work. We are happy to support the children with homework if required. Each school holiday the children and staff plan a host of exciting activities that keep them busy throughout the day.

Ofsted last inspected us on 1 August 2007, when the setting was judged to be ‘Good’. Here are some of the things the inspector said about us

‘Snack and meal times are relaxed and sociable occasions in the club and children sit together with the staff to share news… Children enjoy their time in the club. They are provided with a wide variety of activities, which ensures they can make choices and operate independently’
