Childcare is based at St George’s on Broadway, in the Sunbeam Children’s Centre on Lupset Crescent and at Snapethorpe School; all our setting provide high quality childcare and our nurseries are registered with the Local Authority for the delivery of free nursery education.

Ofsted inspected our nurseries in June 2007, and judged them over all to be ‘Good’. We were particularly please that in the area of Making a Positive Contribution we were judged to be ‘Outstanding’. Our Out of School club was also judged to be ‘Good’ at it’s latest inspection in 2006, reports are available from the settings or from the Ofsted website www.ofsted.gov.uk .

All our ‘Childcare’ is conveniently situated for Wakefield and surrounding areas and are approximately two miles from the town centre and less than a mile from junction 40 off the M1.

We work closely with the Sunbeam Children’s Centre, the centre offers a range of support, advice and activities for young children and their families.
